Fugenn & The White Elephants 2ndAlbum “Prays”





Fugenn & The White Elephants is a solo project by a Japanese male artist, Shuji Saito. His blasting fullthrottle sound runs in your ear through the head, spreading molecules of beat inside and out. Tokyo and Chiba is his main plathome, making the floor dance since 2004 as a DJ and a trackmaker under by the name of "SOMA" representing the new generation Beatmaker. As a member of "Trench Warefare"(not in action as of right now) an underground party crew in Chiba, performing lives in Tokyo, Kyoto, Shiga and Nigata. In 2008, changes to a name "Fugenn & The White Elephants" and his work of remixes with "Headphone Science", "KoenPark" and more has been a success not only in Japan, but spreading his talent out to the world. In April 2011, his 1st album was released from a famous Japanese electronica label "PROGRESSIVE FOrM". Please check out and experience "an4rm". Also participated YMO's tribute album "YMO REWAKE". The "Ryuuichi Sakamoto tribute" of sale and the "Jobim tribute" of the April sale will be provided with a musical piece in January, 2012. It appears on SonarSound Tokyo 2012. Shuji Saitoによるソロプロジェクト。疾走感溢れるビートを得意とする次世代ビートメーカー。2004年よりトラックメーカー兼DJとして活動を開始。 2008年よりFugenn & The White Elephants名義でSymbolic interactionやKoenParkのリミックス他国内外の多くのプロジェクトに参加、2011年2月10日発売となるPleq「Good Night Two」に参加する。そして同4月15日にPROGRESSIVE FOrMより待望の1stフルアルバム「an4rm」をリリース、「Narcissus」「Phonex」という2楽曲のPVと共に大きな好評と非常に高 い評価を得ている。また8月にはYMOのカバーアルバム『YMO REWAKE』、2012年1月発売の『坂本龍一トリビュート』、また4月発売の『ジョビン・トリビュート』に楽曲を提供するなど、活動を幅を着実に広 げ、更なる注目を集めている逸材である。4月22日にはSonarSound Tokyo 2012に出演。そして2012年5月5日、待望の2ndフルアルバム『Prays』をリリース、2012年0621日、初期音源集『Archetype-Zero』をリリース。その他TVCMやWebBGM等も手がける。
